A funny post on the popular social news site Reddit soon turned into a serious health issue regarding cancer – and may have saved one man’s life, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
An anonymous user posted a story about his friend, who jokingly took a pregnancy test left by an ex-girlfriend and was surprised when the test came back positive. Thousands of Reddit users posted comments on the story, many telling the original user to have his friend get tested for testicular cancer.

Misdemeanor animal hoarding charges have been filed against an Aurora, Ill., man whose home was filled with more than 400 birds.

The charges come after Aurora authorities last month investigated a report of multiple birds visible in Skeberdis’ home.
For those of you who missed the story, a Cleveland Metropolitan School District bus driver got fed up with a female driver who was in the habit of using the sidewalk to pass his stopped school bus as he loaded and unloaded kids. The driver of the bus, Uriah Herron, contacted police who then set up a trap to nab the woman.
The driver of the vehicle seen in the video was 32-year-old Shena Hardin. After being caught red-handed, she was charged with not stopping for a school bus and reckless operation, charges she plead not guilty to in September. These charges could have gotten Hardin some time in jail if she ended up in front of a jury, so Hardin wisely plead out and agreed to pay $250 in court costs and have her license suspended for 30 days.
A fire erupted at a Midtown sushi restaurant last night after a worker haphazardly carried gasoline in soy sauce containers, sources said.

Mackenzie said that 10 Upstate New York tree trimmers who were in town for hurricane Sandy relief efforts and who happened to be eating at ENO, tackled the busboy to put out the flames.
